Gram Parsons
Gram Parsons begon zijn carrière als recording artist in 1968, nauwelijks vijf jaar later overleed hij aan een onduidelijke overdosis in een motel in de Joshua Tree woestijn. Gelukkig werd er in die tijd nog aardig de zweep opgelegd en nam Parsons zes platen op.
Eén met The International Submarine Band (Safe at Home'), één met The Byrds (Sweetheart of the Rodeo'), twee met The Flying Burrito Brothers (Gilded Palace of Sin' en Burrito Deluxe'), en twee soloplaten (G.P.' en Grievous Angel'). Allemaal aanraders, maar omdat u niet zo gefortuneerd bent als wij, hebben wij deze podselectie voor u samengesteld.
